Our Network

Nevada Bell Internet is utilizing its vast networking and communications expertise to deliver Internet solutions with exceptionally high levels of performance, availability and reliability. Our state-of-the-art data center, robust architecture, and proactive monitoring make it possible for use to meet the demands of businesses throughout the Reno/Sparks and Carson City area.

Reliability

To maximize throughput, we purposely overbuilt our network and partnered with one of the fastest* Internet backbone providers, IBM Global Services. Full network redundancy is provided through agreements with other backbone providers. We track and trend all routers and backbone provider circuits via network management tools and add additional capacity to the network well before reaching the threshold. Although this may not be the cheapest way for us to do business, it ensures you get what you've paid for by avoiding the latency issues inherent in over driving a network.

Performance

Our network is composed of multiple hubs connected by a redundant, high-speed backbone network. Each hup features industry-leading equipment from Cisco Systems and Ascend and runs on either a FDDI LAN or a Fast Ethernet network.
