Customer Hardware Required for Dedicated Access to the Internet
- Internet server, usually connected to a LAN.
- Router, networking equipment that directs and manages traffic between the LAN and the Internet. See our Internet Access Pack for details.
- Channel Service Unit/Digital Service Unit (CSU/DSU), equipment that connects to the Nevada Bell data circuit and provides a V.35 or HSSI connection to the router. Some routers feature integrated CSU/DSU equipment. See our Internet Access Pack for details.
- Data transport circuit from Nevada Bell. Nevada Bell will automatically coordinate your circuit order with your Internet access order.
